Our Mission
BKind is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and less fortunate population in Maryland. We partner with local county resources as well as faith-based and secular organizations to provide food, hygiene products, blankets, coats, and other necessities to help the individuals we serve each week. We also seek to connect individuals to available local resources in an effort to get them the help they need, and break the cycles of homelessness and poverty one individual and family at a time.
Our Program
BKind coordinates with other volunteer groups to serve between 150-200 individuals each week. This outreach to the community provides free groceries, hot meals, hygiene products, etc. that are donated by grocery stores, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, local churches, and other non-profit organizations.
How we are making a difference in the community
People who are served each week are given groceries, fresh fruit and produce, a healthy meal, and more. Volunteers build relationships with individuals they serve, and every resource at our disposal is used to help meet their physical needs and spiritual well-being.
